Travis McCullough, CFP®, MST began working at Cox Financial Group in June of 2018 and has obtained the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 securities licenses. He completed his Financial Planning Certification from UT Austin in December 2021 and became a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner after passing the CFP exam in July 2022. Prior to that, he spent four years working as a tax associate under Jerry Walker, CPA at Coburn & Walker CPAs. He has become an integral member of the Cox Financial Group team by running the financial planning software, researching investments, working with technology, and helping with annual and semi-annual client reviews.
After graduating from Millsap High School here in Parker County, Travis completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas on a full scholarship, thanks to the Terry Foundation. Then he earned his master’s degree in Taxation from UNT in December 2018. Travis is currently continuing his career path by working as a Financial Advisor under Randy’s training and mentorship.
Travis married his beautiful wife, Molly, in June 2016 and they have two boys, Trace and Grant. They are both active members of Greenwood Baptist Church. Travis also enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and is an avid movie-watcher and sports fan.
